The Affinities Program

The Affinities Program/Strong Planet guides young people toward strengths discovery through hands-on, interactive assignments. The curriculum touches on a wide variety of topics organized as a teen's personal journey toward the future. This is accomplished using interactive digital games and dvds, group activities, films, books, field trips, technology, and presentations.

The strengths approach presented here prepares children to:

• understand a wide variety of ways they can be successful
• feel passionate about work, given a wide spectrum of career choices
• think about careers without focusing too narrowly on one kind of job or area
  
• feel confident knowing what they love to do
  
• know what to look for in life, relationships, and work
